Parmesan Wafers

The simplest cheese decoration you can ever make - one ingredient, a fine grater and a frying pan is all you need to make these super fun parmesan wafers!

Ingredients

  • 50 g Parmesan cheese

Instructions

Heat up the Frying Pan:

  • Heat a frying pan over medium heat.

Add the Parmesan Cheese:

  • Once it is heated, finely grate over the parmesan cheese in an even layer.
    Cook for two or three minutes.

Flip the Parmesan Wafer Crisps:

  • Using a fish slice, slowly lift the edges of the wafer.
    Once it starts to move as one, lift up the whole sheet and flip it over.
  • Cook it for 1 - 2 minutes more and then remove from the heat.

Use the Parmesan Wafer Crisps:

  • Allow to cool and then break it in to wafers for whatever you want.

Store the Wafers:

  • Add the wafers in to a sealed container and store them in a cool cupboard or fridge.
    They will keep well for around 10 days like this.
